Taijing-2/01

The Taijing-2/01 satellite is a commercial Earth observation (EO) satellite developed by Beijing Minospace Technology Co., Ltd., primarily designed for acquiring medium-resolution optical remote sensing imagery. It provides critical data support for various applications, including agricultural disaster assessment, forestry management, wildfire prevention, natural resource surveys, environmental monitoring, flash flood hazard mitigation and geological and mineral exploration. With a mass of approximately 80 kilograms, the satellite features a design life of 5 years.

The satellite's avionics system uses a homogeneous cold-redundant architecture with autonomous failover between primary and backup modules when anomalies are detected, ensuring reliable on-orbit operations. The AOCS features a fault-tolerant multi-sensor configuration including sun sensors, star trackers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers, providing high reliability with precise pointing accuracy and enhanced maneuverability.
